Embracing AI Technology!

I have been working hard on my beginner’s guide to making comic books without any art experience, and I have fully embraced the latest advances in AI art creation. I am now treating AI as an assistant helping me complete tasks. I was doubtful that I could create good enough example comic panels to back up the premise for the whole book, which is that someone can make a comic book with little or no artistic skill. Above are the four panels I quickly made using AI art generation and Manga Maker Comipo! from Steam. I am excited about the possibilities for this book. Look out for additions to this series in the future.

Many artists have been angry and fearful of the new technology that threatens their future careers and income. However, working hand-in-hand with this new technology can help someone who wants to achieve something but hasn’t necessarily got the skills to achieve their goal. The kind of level you can reach is not going to worry highly skilled artists who have gained years of experience. The art world is now open to those who could only dream of producing works that could satisfy their creative impulse.

The rapid changes that are occurring now are mind-blowing. It is hard to imagine what could be just around the corner. I am going to use AI backgrounds for hobby comic book panels I produce in the following months, and keep reading about the latest advances in AI.

This is a new page where I can share my thoughts on certain things. Topics will cover a wide range of subjects but at the moment, there are plenty to choose from.

The past two or three years have been extremely difficult for everyone, and because of the severity and seriousness of the predicament the world found itself in I felt it inappropriate to carry on blogging in the same manner as before. I sort of lost the will to speak and share; instead, I turned inwards and used the lockdown to gain new skills and reflect.

Our faith is currently being tested at the moment with a barrage of events coming down on us like hammer blows. The world seems to be closing in on us and at this time of suffering, we must stay strong and ask for help. We need to turn to God more than ever as it seems dark clouds are gathering. Don't scoff and deny his existence, what is it going to hurt to believe and trust in God and Jesus Christ - it can only be a positive thing.

We are being tested and it seems we are stronger than we thought. If you can find some time in your day to think about the plight of others and the suffering they are going through then send out a little prayer for them or if you have time and money to spare then do something in your community to help those less fortunate than yourself or reach out to others in the world - your prayers will count, God is listening.
